Sabinal Loses to Falls City in Overtime

The Falls City Beavers defeated the Yellowjackets in overtime 23-20 in a hard-fought, exciting Homecoming game.  Sabinal scored 20 unanswered points in third quarter to take a 20-7 lead.  The Beavers came back and tied the game 20-20 to force overtime.  Connor Jendrusch kicked a 11-yard field goal to seal the win for Falls City.  The Beavers lost in the Class 1A Division 2 State Championship game last year and won the State Championship in 2011.   

Sabinal is now 3-1 on the season.
