Biography
2012 - Texas Sports Writers Association All-State Honorable Mention LB. 2013 - Texas Sports Writers Association All-State Honorable Mention RB. On January 4, 2014, Matt had the honor of playing in the San Antonio Sports All Star Football Game (presented by H-E-B). Top San Antonio area high school players were selected for the game played at the Alamodome and televised live on channel KMYS. Matt was a running back on the West Team and carried the ball 6 times for 38 yards. On July 22, 2014, Matt had the honor of playing in the Texas High School Coaches Association All-Star (THSCA) Football Game at the Alamodome. Matt played the linebacker position.
